Types of Applicants

The Graduate School accepts applications from U.S. citizens, permanent residents (green card holders), immigrants and international applicants. Undocumented individuals are eligible for admission to whatever graduate programme at the University of Washington. Graduate Schoolhouse access requirements and application procedures are the same for all applicants regardless of citizenship and visa status.

Types of Students

Minimum Admissions Requirements

GPA:

  • Have earned at to the lowest degree a iii.0 course-point-average (on a 4 point scale) from a regionally accredited college or university in the U.S. or its equivalent from a strange establishment for the last xc graded quarter credits or 60 graded semester credits from a baccalaureate degree (for a Master's, doctoral, or professional person degree, the total cumulative boilerplate may be used).

  • COVID-nineteen Updates

  • The TOEFL iBT Special Home Edition is accepted by the Graduate School. The Special Home Edition is identical in content and scoring to the regular TOEFL iBT taken in a testing centre. It is currently available everywhere except mainland Prc and Iran.
  • The TOEFL ITP Plus for China is accepted past the Graduate School. The test is designed to run into the needs of students from people's republic of china.
    • Applicants must register for the TOEFL ITP Level 1 Test (Intermediate to Advanced).
    • Applicants must take a minimum Level 1 test score of 627 (C1) for admission.

Citizenship and Visa Condition
